Paddy McCullagh qualified from Queen’s University Belfast in 1989.
After resident Hospital posts in Maxillofacial Surgery, he graduated in 1993 from the Eastman Dental Centre, Rochester, New York after a two year residency programme in General Dentistry.
He then graduated as a Master of Science in Conservative Dentistry from University College London in 1996 and later completed full time training at the Eastman Dental Hospital and was certified as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry in 1999.
He is a Fellow in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is registered with the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Restorative Dentistry, a Specialist in Endodontics and a Specialist in Prosthodontics.
He has published five papers in international refereed journals and has lectured throughout the United Kingdom but also as far away as Toronto and Nairobi.
He was previously appointed as an Examiner for the Intercollegiate Specialty Examinations and also as an External Examiner at University College London, both in Restorative Dentistry.
He is currently the Consultant and Clinical Lead for the Specialist Dental Services department for Central London Community Healthcare Trust, based in Soho Square, London.
